The objects for which Secure Chorus has been established are the development, convergence and adoption of standards for the secure communications industry. In support of these objects, we have four primary purposes:
to develop and promote the standards which enable interoperable communications between secure communications ecosystems;
to build a vibrant, open and competitive marketplace for products and services supporting the standards, highlighting the benefits and capabilities of Secure Chorus Compliant Products and enabling successful applications and deployments using Secure Chorus Compliant Products;
to promote acceptance of the technical approach identified in the standards, through open contributions to the wider public, as well as demonstrations and engagement with wider technical forums; and
to develop and foster the creation of an infrastructure to support the expansion of the ecosystem in support of Secure Chorus Compliant Products, and increase the quality of communications and reduce the cost of interoperability for the operators and users of Secure Chorus Compliant Products.
