Armour Mobile provides an easy-to-use app for iOS and Android devices, and Windows 10 Desktop, enabling discreet secure calls using personal, off-the-shelf smartphones. It enables trusted colleagues to share and discuss sensitive information such as commercial contract negotiations, trade secrets, security incidents, while protecting from eavesdroppers, criminals, hackers, enemy nation states or commercial competitors.
Armour Mobile provides the usability of consumer-grade apps, with significantly enhanced security. It supports voice calls, video calls, one-to-one and group messaging, voice and video conference calls, file attachments and sent/received/read message status. Messages can be set to automatically delete on the recipient’s device, for immediate action after being read, or in the future, according to confidentiality. Data held on mobile devices is protected enabling compliance with regulation such as GDPR and industry-specific regulations.
For the Emergency Service Mobile Communications programme, Armour Mobile can provide a compliant replacement for Airwave equipment.
Armour Mobile is a subscription service, where the end-user organisation keeps control of its own data. Typically, the app is downloaded from the App store and the infrastructure can either be supplied as a cloud service, hybrid cloud or on premises.
A founding member of SecureChorus, Armour’s technology has been approved by NCSC, FIPS, and NATO.
