Secure Chorus joins Cyber39 as founding member

Secure Chorus on Thursday announced that it has joined Cyber39 as a founding member.

The Cyber39 brings together cyber security companies scaling and developing new technologies that address the global cyber threats facing the UK. The initial cohort of businesses involved in the programme includes Level39’s existing 22 cyber security businesses, the largest concentration of cyber start-ups in London.

Elisabetta Zaccaria, Chairman of Secure Chorus commented:

“We are excited to be a founding members of Cyber39 and contribute towards key aspects of cyber security through our work on interoperability standards for the secure communication industry. Standards address a range of issues, including but not limited to various protocols that help ensure technology product functionality and compatibility, facilitate interoperability and support users’ security. It is only through the application of standards that the credibility of new products and new markets can be verified. Secure Chorus is a driving force providing technical expertise and innovation, driving global participation, and pursuing the ongoing advancement and promotion of interoperability for global secure communication technologies.”

The intention of the programme is to tackle growing cyber threats across the public and private sectors, establishing the UK as a leader in cyber security innovation and, in line with Government policy, ensuring that the country is the safest place in the world to do business.
